The National Association of African American Owned Media (NAAAOM) unites voices across the communications and entertainment industries to fight for economic inclusion, including equal access to distribution, investment capital, sponsorship, and other critical resources.

This is not about entitlement; it's about ensuring that African-Americans will always have an opportunity to express our interests and be heard. Only by creating sustained equal opportunities to communicate can we begin to rectify continued racial imbalances in the economy and society as a whole.

  1. Protect and promote current African-American owned media.
  2. Increase the number of African-American owned media ventures.
  3. Ensure fair unrestricted access to all media platforms, including net neutrality.
  4. End discrimination in advertising, investment, and licensing.
